Samples can be taken by traditional methods or plotted on a GPS map, which can then be used for spreading at a later date.
We can work with your agronomist, the SOYL GPS system, or other precision mapping services.
Lime and fertilisers can be delivered to site for customer convenience. All lime and fertilisers supplied pass the stringent rules set by The Fertiliser Regulations Act.
As well as our core services, we also offer pasture aeration and direct grass seed drilling to improve grassland.
About
A family business with practical roots.
The business was founded in the mid 1980s by Graham Smith, a contractor and small farmer. He found that lime suppliers were reluctant to apply small amounts of lime. Other local farmers found the same problem, so he started to help both them and himself.
It is a policy we still hold true today. Whilst we are happy to take on substantial contracts for estates and large-scale farmers, we will never turn any small job away.
For spreading, we mostly use Big A three-wheeled spreaders equipped with LGP tyres and GPS-VR controllers. We also run a smaller tractor-drawn spreader for jobs where access is an issue.
Providing a high level of service is important to us.
